A FORMAÇÃO DO QUADRO DE PESQUISADORES DA EMBRAPA: ESTUDO DE CASO

Resumo

O presente texto descreve o processo pelo qual foi formado o quadro de pesquisadores da EMBRAPA. Apresenta, inicialmente, os problemas que levaram à decisão de se criar programas de formação de pessoal e as alternativas que se dispunham, à época, para resolver estes problemas. Descreve, em seguida, a opção que foi preferida e como ela foi implementada. Finalmente, discute os efeitos positivos já verificados empiricamente e os efeitos negativos que começaram a se fazer sentir na instituição.

THE TRAINING OF EMBRAPA's RESEARCHERS: A CASE STUDY

Abstract

The present text describes the process by which EMBRAPA's researchers were trained. The problems that led to the decision to establish training programs are initially exposed, as well as the existing alternatives available to solve those problems. The solution which was chosen is presented and its implementation is described. Finally, the paper discusses the positive effects already measured and the negative effects which started to rise in the institution.
