ORGANIZAÇÃO DA PESQUISA AGROPECUÁRIA BRASILEIRA: O CASO DA EMBRAPA

Resumo

Este trabalho faz um mapeamento geral da Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (EMBRAPA). Na execução desta tarefa são apresentados a estrutura interna, o sistema de programação e a alocação de recursos humanos e financeiros. Intencionalmente, não existe no texto nenhuma conclusão interpretativa. O que se faz é retratar como algumas das características organizacionais trabalhadas evoluíram ao longo do tempo. Neste sentido, o trabalho procura ser útil aos pesquisadores e estudiosos em geral colocando, de forma coerente, uma série de dados importantes para o dimensionamento e análise dessa importante instituição de pesquisa brasileira.

ORGANIZATION OF THE BRAZILIAN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH:
THE EMBRAPA'S CASE

Abstract
The objective of this study is to make a general survey of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Organization (EMBRAPA). To achieve this, a presentation of EMBRAPA's internal structure, its system of programming and its human and financial resources allocation is made. The text intentionally omits interpretative conclusions. What it does is to describe how some of the organizational characteristics which have been developed over a period of time evolved. In this way the study attempts to be useful to researchers and others interested in a general way in the organization, presenting, in a logical form, a series of important data to be used in measuring and analyzing this important Brazilian agricultural research institution.
