DA DIFUSÃO DE TECNOLOGIA AO DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL: TRAJETÓRIA DA TRANSFERÊNCIA DE TECNOLOGIA NA EMBRAPA CLIMA TEMPERADO

Resumo

O texto aborda a trajetória da "transferência de tecnologia" na Embrapa Clima Temperado, considerando ao mesmo tempo a história da própria Unidade e o que aconteceu com a atividade na instituição. Aponta alguns fatos e características de propostas e programas que contribuem para a reflexão sobre os desafios para a atividade e para a instituição, como consequência. É possível encontrar neste texto muitos elementos que podem qualificar as políticas publicas, não só as de Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento &Inovação (PD&I) e de Transferência de Tecnologia (TT). Por exemplo, temas como desenvolvimento regional, fortalecimento dos processos participativos para a busca da sustentabilidade, e diminuição da dependência tecnológica, entre outros, têm estado presentes em projetos e programas, com mais ou com menos intensidade, dependendo de decisões estratégicas em nível gerencial.

FROM THE DIFFUSION OF TECHNOLOGY TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: THE PATH OF TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER IN EMBRAPA TEMPERATE AGRICULTURE


ABSTRACT

This text approaches the path of the "technology transfer" in the Embrapa Temperate Agriculture, by taking into consideration, at the same time, the history of the Unit and what happened to this activity in the institution. It points out some facts and characteristics of proposals and programs that contribute for the reflection on the challenges for the activity and for the institution, as a consequence. In this article, it is possible to find many elements that may qualify the public policies, which are not only Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) and Technology Transfer (TT). For example, subjects as regional development, strengthening of participative processes for sustainability, and reduction of the technological dependence, among others, have been present in projects and programs, with high or low intensity, depending on strategical decisions at a management level.
