TECNOLOGIA E PESQUISA AGROPECUÁRIAS: CONSIDERAÇÕES PRELIMINARES SOBRE A GERAÇÃO DE TECNOLOGIA

Resumo

O trabalho situa o processo de criação de tecnologia agropecuária dentro de um contexto mais abrangente, sem, contudo, deixar de marcar a especificidade do que é denominado de prática tecnológica. Para o cumprimento desta tarefa, atenção inicial é dada sobre (1) a natureza dos conceitos, (2) o debate da autonomia/não-autonomia da ciência e tecnologia e (3) sobre as relações entre a ciência e a tecnologia. A argumentação básica tenta evidenciar a importância de se investigar os aspectos sociais da tecnologia, isto é, como essa tecnologia é produzida e usada.

AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCH: PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS ON THE PRODUCTION OF TECHNOLOGY
Abstract
This work situates the process of creation of agricultural technology within a wider context, without, however, failing to emphasize the specificity of what is called a technological practice. For the fulfillment of this task initial attention is given to (1) the nature of the concepts, (2) the debate over autonomy/non-autonomy of science and technology, and (3) the relationships between science and technology. The basic argument tries to make evident the importance of investigating the social aspects of technology, i.e., how technology is produced and used.
