A IMPORTÂNCIA DO RELACIONAMENTO PESQUISA/EXTENSÃO PARA A AGROPECUÁRIA

Resumo

Ao destacar alguns equívocos e esquecimentos comuns no trato da questão do relacionamento pesquisa/extensão, o trabalho evolui para uma discussão das mudanças de enfoque desse relacionamento no Brasil a partir de uma reconceituação da atividade prática de difusão de tecnologia, empreendida durante os anos 70. Ao final, é apresentado um exemplo concreto de trabalho integrado entre a pesquisa e a extensão.

IMPORTANCE OF RESEARCH/EXTENSION RELATIONSHIP FOR AGRICULTURE

Abstract
After pointing out several erronous interpretations and omissions common when dealing with the question of the research/extension relationship, the study turns to a discussion of the changes of emphasis of this relationship in Brazil beginning with a new conception of the practical activity of technology diffusion undertaken during the 1970's. The study ends up with a concrete example of the integrated efforts between research and extension.
