A crise da pesquisa agrícola: perspectivas para os anos 90

Resumo

Este texto propõe elementos que caracterizam uma nova trajetória de evolução da tecnologia agrícola, com ênfase na biotecnologia, chamando a atenção para as mudanças de paradigma tecnológico, para a nova estrutura industrial que se organiza e para os novos papéis do Estado. Levanta questões que devem ser analisadas, seja no contexto de uma nova política nacional para a área, seja sob a perspectiva da integração latino-americana.

The agricultural research crisis: the 90's perspectives

Abstract
This paper tries to identify the components of the new agricultural technology evolution trajectory, with emphasis on biotechnology, and underlines the technical paradigm changes, the new industrial structure organization, and the new nation-state roles. It also raises questions that must be analyzed on the context both of the new national policies to the area and of the Latin-American integration.
