IMPACTO DA MUDANÇA TECNOLÓGICA NA PRODUÇÃO AGRÍCOLA:APROXIMAÇÃO DE UMA ANÁLISE DINÂMICA

Resumo

O trabalho procura testar um instrumental analítico capaz de avaliar a influência da mudança tecnológica na produção. Utilizou-se um modelo polinomial de regressão com defasagens distribuídas, tendo-se analisado três produtos: arroz, milho e trigo. As principais conclusões do trabalho foram: (a) o modelo mostrou-se adequado para os produtos analisados; (b) as defasagens ótimas para arroz, milho e trigo são, respectivamente, de 6, 4 e 5 anos.

ABSTRACT
The work aims at testing an appropriate analytical framework to evaluate the influence of technological change on production. A lagged polinomial regression model was adjusted. The crops analyzed were rice, corn and wheat. The paper's main conclusions are the following: (a) the model adjusted well for the crops analyzed; (b) the optimum lags for rice, corn and wheat were 6, 4 and 5 years, respectively.
