PROPOSTAS DE DIFUSÃO DA AGRICULTURA ORGÂNICA

Resumo

Discute-se a conceituação de difusão de tecnologia e sua aplicabilidade à agricultura orgânica, considerando-se que para a decisão de sua adoção em uma perspectiva de mercado, não se pode relevar o contexto sócio-político. Sugere-se um repensar da política agrícola e, como medidas a serem implementadas, o redirecionamento do crédito rural e a cobrança do custo ecológico dos insumos agrícolas industrializados de acordo com o efeito destes sobre o ambiente. Conclui-se, ainda, que a pequena produção seria a grande beneficiária da difusão da agricultura orgânica e que somente através da pressão da sociedade organizada sobre o Estado, este processo poderá obter a dinâmica necessária para a sua consolidação.

PROPOSALS TO THE DIFFUSION OF ORGANIC AGRICULTURE
ABSTRACT
The concept de technology diffusion and its applicability to organic agriculture are discussed, considering that, for their propagation as a whole in the decision making process, it is necessary to consider the social-political context. It is suggested a re-thinking of the agricultural policy and, as instruments of the latter to be implemented it is possible to mention: a foccus change of agricultural financing process and the charge of the environmental cost of industrialized agricultural inputs. It is concluded that, yet the small production was the greatest beneficiary of the organic agriculture diffusion, and, that only by means of the organized society pressure over the government this process will give a dinamics to achive this goal.
